In the first quarter of 2023, the top wellness apps on iOS in Portugal showcased varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Based on the data from Sensor Tower, here are the insights for the leading wellness apps:

Headspace: Sleep & Meditation saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $1.6K in the weeks of January 30 and March 13. Weekly downloads were highest at 468 in the first week of January, while the number of active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 3K to 3.6K throughout the quarter.

Calm experienced its highest weekly revenue in mid-January with approximately $1.8K. The app's downloads peaked at 1138 in the same period, but there was a noticeable drop in downloads towards March, settling at 231 in the final week. Active users showed a slight decline from 8.8K at the start of the quarter to 6.9K by the end of March.

RISE: Sleep Tracker demonstrated a strong start in January with weekly downloads reaching 1013 and revenue peaking at $1.1K. However, both metrics saw a decrease towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to 272 and revenue falling to $332 in the last week of March. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 1.9K in early January to just under 1K by the end of the quarter.

Sleep Cycle - Tracker & Sounds had a notable increase in weekly downloads at the beginning of March, reaching 2258. Weekly revenue was highest in mid-March at $808, while active users peaked at 8.5K in the first week of March, before settling back to 6.2K by the end of the month.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound showed a consistent performance in weekly revenue, peaking at $689 in mid-March. Downloads were highest in the first week of March with 1311, and the number of active users increased steadily, reaching 1.7K by the third week of March before slightly declining to 1.4K in the final week.
